the original sketch for the chapter 4 cover of wrek. i think jaegerin’s face looks a little better in the final, but it still looks kinda dumb overall. i hate that angle, argghhh1!!

WIP of something i was doing on livestream. might fix a few parts of it before finishing [if i finish?] meh.

quick page of expressions. disgusted/weirded out, pissed off, giggly, sad. was getting annoyed by the fact that i usually end up drawing the same stoic expression. these turned out a lot better than the last time i did expression faces, so i’m starting to think drawing the comic is helping me improve. especially with horace’s weird raeg-faces.

some more pen work while at AC. i remember being very intimidated (not by the people, by the art) drawing around tomhoshino and radiophonix and fook and all these other awesome artists that i just couldn’t compare to. i dunno, i tried to tell myself, you know, you’re a painter, a colorist, your strong points aren’t lines and stylization like this. but i still get so envious, at the execution of it, at the strange sketch ideas they have, even the fact that they have a sense of humor. i mean i laugh at shit but i cannot draw funny. SIGH. anyway. there’s really nothing i can do to combat that except to draw more. so i’ll just keep on truckin’…

WIP of something expirmental, color-wise. playing around with split complementary colors. not really sure if it’s working, this feels like it’s lacking something. still, i’ll probably end up finishing it just to be stubborn.

was having a moment of not-happy-ness. at a bar and not enjoying the music and just had one of those moments of pissed-off-ness for no-reason-ness. better to sketch it out than punch someone, i guess.
