etc info: -past: kenni was born the daugher of a merchant in ferluing. she was apprenticed as a cabin boy at a young age and soon was able to enter the naval academy due to her father's shrewd financial success. she graduated at the higher end of her class and was able to land a space on a ship as a second lieutenant. within a few years [and with some luck] she was able to proceed to the title of commander of a small sloop and proceeded a career of privateering. however, her methods on board, as well as her tendency to drink too much, landed her in trouble with the ferluing navy, and she was expelled and banned from the country. despite this, she was able to continue privateering for certain merchants in devitt, and became a captain. on one of her runs in a port in devitt, she came across mantra, and on a whim decided to take her in as a cabin boy. she was later able to support mantra in attending an academy in devitt. -personality: she's somewhat greedy but can be kind-hearted [as long as it doesn't cost too much to her]. she runs a tight ship. she can be ruthless when drunk, though it takes a lot to get her to this level, because of her species [which has a high tolerance anyway] as well as the tolerance she's created over the years. she's sarcastic and mischevious and grins a lot, and seems to have little regret or forethought to her actions.
