etc info: -past: keesha was born in a relatively normal suburbian setting, and as a child, was known for being outgoing and optimistic. once she hit her early teens, she started getting into raves, drawn into it by the bright colors and loud music and the chance to dress any way she wanted. after a year or so, however, she started experimenting with certain soft drugs. after a short period of time, this caught up with her. unknown to her, keesha was the recipient of a normally recessive 'cheshire' gene. this gene had the tendency to induce catalepsy, cause a lightening of the eyes and body [almost a forced albinoism] by slow loss of myelin, and psychologically, a tendency for racing thoughts and delusionary optimism. the drugs she had started experimenting with were a catalyst for these effects to take place. she fell into a cataleptic state and was taken for dead, presumed to have overdosed. she was not diagnosed with the cheshire gene until after she awoke at her wake (considerably freaking out everyone there). keesha had a resulting short stint of amnesia, which still has a tendency to rise up. she also falls into short cataleptic states, but her family is aware of these. she does have access to some medication which reduce the severity and occurance of her cataleptic states, and keep her skin/eyes from becoming too light sensitive. after a few years, this forced her to gain some maturity to grasp the situation. as the years progress, her eyes fade in and out of blue/white [depending on how much of her medication she is taking, etc] and are usually extremely light, and her fur & markings slowly fade to white [with her hair fading as well, though she dyes it into the spectrum-like colors you see now, so it is not as obvious]. her racing thoughts were stabilized though have a tendency to flare up, in pair with some anxiety, when she feels as if she may soon fall into catalepsy. on the whole, however, keesha has retained her optimism and bright outlook, and is able to keep a steady job as well as have a creative outlet. keesha is the older sister of mica, and was a close friend of rosewen until she went missing. she also gets along fairly well with elvira and plays keyboard/backup vocals in her triphop band. -personality: she loves company, light, summer, day; but also likes the light of the stars and especially the moon. small things make her happy; her life is the pursuit, analyzation of, and continual experience of happiness and contentment, despite the bad things which happen to her.
