etc info:
-past: daishou got her nickname [which means boss or general] from her tendency to boss people around, especially in kendo/karate practice. she practices the arts of war a great amount, and has always been fascinated by warfare. she is the daughter of a general, her uncles are samurai, and she is the grand-daughter of a daimyo. she holds her lineage in extremely high regard, fostering much pride for her family. however much she is taken with war, though, she still has a tendency to sit in gardens and watch flowers and animals. she does not like the waste of life [excess slaughter, massacres, the killing of unarmed civilians] but still has respect for the processes of life and death.
she is the incarnation of a body which had held constance at one lifetime. when rek came to her country for a short time to find horace, daishou recognized her from her past life of which she had been having vivid dreams. she took rek in and taught her the art of the samurai and kendo, and helped to reinstill beleifs about living.
her country is almost equal to feudal japan; however there is far less prejudice about the roles of women in society, so daishou is allowed to be involved in the military. she has a knack and a liking for teaching, so she trains new recruits the basics of fighting. she also has a tendency to carry a katana and wazikashi at all times.

-personality: daishou is a very positive person, but not to the point where it's obnoxious. she is strong-willed and accomplishes most that is set out before her. she has a lot of pride, but almost to a fault; if something goes wrong, she usually blames herself, and sets out to iron out her weaknesses. she is a stern instructor and has high expectations of her students, but rewards them fittingly.
